PAYMENT
It is possible to pay for car rental by all main credit cards (AM.EX., Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard, VISA), Budget vouchers, in cash or by transfer. For cars of H,P groups, the renter has to present two different credit cards. The customer who pays by a voucher has to present a valid credit card as well.
INSURANCE
Third party liability, CDW and TP are automatically included into the rental rate and are valid in all European Union territory. In case of damage or theft of a rented car, the customer shall bear the responsibility for the damage done up to 1500Lt., and 1700 LTL for P, H groups . By purchasing the Super insurance, the customer may reduce his/her responsibility to "0". Passengers and the driver may be insured additionally. In case of theft, the customer must provide the keys and documents of rented car. Tires and keys are not insured. Upon the loss of car keys or documents, or having irreparably damaged the tire, the fine of 400 LTL shall be paid.
Parking fees and fines are paid by the customer.
AIRPORT FEE
When the car is rented or dropped off at Vilnius, Palanga, Karmėlava airports, the airport tax of 42 LTL is added to the rental rate.
FUEL
The rental cars are filled up with the fuel. The renter should return the car filled up, otherwise will be charged 35Lt+missing fuel cost.
DRIVERS
The driver's license must be written in the Latin script. In other case international license is required. A driver must have not less than two years of driving experience. The minimum driving age: · A, B car groups is 21 year, · C, D - 23 years, · F, K, P, H, I - 25 years.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
The rented car can be driven not only by the renter, but also by additional drivers who are included into the rental agreement. One additional driver is included free of charge.
Budget One Way Rental programme allows you to travel in the Baltic States and not to care about the car return if you do not intend to come back to the initial Budget rental location. You will be able to drop your car off at any Budget rental office in Baltic States or just leave it at a hotel reception.
